I’ve always believed that the best medicine is prevention. Too often, our healthcare system waits until people become unwell and then relies on medication to manage symptoms. I chose this profession because I wanted to do things differently — to give people the tools and knowledge to take control of their health, prevent problems before they arise, and enjoy long-lasting vitality at every stage of life.
For more than 10 years, I’ve been practicing Functional Nutritional Medicine, supporting people with a wide range of health challenges. Whether it’s balancing blood sugar, improving heart health, reducing digestive discomfort, or simply regaining energy, my focus is always on uncovering the root cause and creating a plan that works for the individual.
My own journey has also shaped the way I work. After experiencing breast cancer myself, I became deeply curious about why cancer develops and how we can better support the body during treatment and recovery. This led me to undertake specialist training in oncology nutrition. Today, I help clients prepare for treatment, manage side effects, and rebuild strength afterwards — offering personalised guidance that makes a real difference during a vulnerable time.
Every client I see is unique. That’s why I use a tailored approach, combining evidence-based nutrition, lifestyle support, and where appropriate, advanced testing such as gut health analysis or genetic (nutrigenomic) testing. These tools give powerful insights into why someone may be feeling unwell — whether it’s digestive issues, autoimmune conditions, or even changes in mood and cognition. By understanding the whole picture, I can guide clients toward practical steps that truly support their well-being.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: good health is not just about living longer, but about living well. My role is to empower people with knowledge, compassionate support, and realistic strategies that fit into everyday life. With the right tools and guidance, I believe everyone has the ability to feel stronger, healthier, and more in control of their future.
